Everything Tinnimo can do for your tinnitus

Tinnimo is a tinnitus relief app for iPhone with 6 parts: Relief, Sounds, Sleep, Play, Learn and Track. Here is each one in detail, plus exactly what's free and what Tinnimo Plus adds.

Inside the app

  • Tinnimo Relief sheet asking "What do you need?" with four choices: Cover the ringing, Calm my body, Distract me and Help me sleep. A note below says always free, works offline.
    Relief in one tap
  • Tinnimo Now playing screen in the dark Night theme: Rain on canvas with brown noise, a sleep timer at 44:56 that fades at 10:25 PM, and the volume at 50% with the limiter on.
    Calm sounds, all night
  • Tinnimo Tone profile screen with Coco the snail above a pitch slider set to 6.2 kHz on a scale from 250 Hz to 12 kHz, a Play tone button and a Sounds like mine button. A note says it is not a hearing test.
    Tone match finds your pitch
  • Tinnimo Sleep mode: a nearly empty dark screen with a large clock, the line "Rain + brown noise, until you stop" and a hint to tap to show controls.
    A quiet screen for sleep
  • Tinnimo Play tab with today's free game, Pitch Garden, above four more calm games: Pond Ripples, Focus Shift, Hide the Hum and Snail Trail.
    Gentle games to shift focus
  • Tinnimo Learn tab with the Quiet Mind course at 2 of 24 lessons and How tinnitus works next, above five guided exercises: Breathing, Body scan, Sound spotting, Worry time and A kinder thought.
    Short lessons based on CBT
  • Tinnimo Your nights screen with a bar chart of sleep quality over the last 7 nights and a Tinnimo Plus insight: you sleep better with brown noise, 7 of your 9 good nights had it. A note says patterns, not proof.
    See what helps your nights
  • Tinnimo Today screen with a greeting, a 6-day streak, a check-in asking how the hum is right now from Faint to Very, a plan for morning, afternoon and evening, and a short quote.
    A 10-second daily check-in

What does the Relief button do?

Relief is the raised button in the middle of the app, for the moments when the ringing gets loud. One tap gives you four choices: a soft sound right away, 2 minutes of slow breathing to calm your body, a small game to take your mind off it, or the sleep sound. Relief is always free, it works offline, and you'll never see an upsell inside it.

Which sounds does Tinnimo have?

Tinnimo has 18 sounds, all synthesized live on your iPhone. There's nothing to download or stream, so they play anywhere. 12 are free and 6 come with Tinnimo Plus.

What games are in Tinnimo?

5 calm games of 2 to 5 minutes. Pond Ripples is always free, and one more game is free each day. Tinnimo Plus unlocks all 5.

  • Pond Ripples · 3 min
Tap as you breathe out, and each ripple plays a soft note. Always free.
  • Focus Shift · 2 min
Find the bird in the forest by moving your attention to outside sounds.
  • Hide the Hum · 4 min
Blend your matched tone into a river until it fades into the background. Best with headphones.

Which flower sings higher? A calm way to practice listening. Labeled Early research.
  • Snail Trail · 5 min
Guide Coco along a winding trail. Going slowly is the whole point.

What can you learn in Tinnimo?

Quiet Mind is an 8-week course of 24 short lessons based on ideas from CBT for tinnitus. Week 1 is free, and Tinnimo Plus unlocks the rest. It's self-help, not therapy.

  1. How tinnitus works
  2. Thoughts and the hum

What does Tinnimo track?

  • 10-second check-ins: loudness from 1 to 5, your mood, and what was different that day.
  • Journal: the last 7 days free, your full history with Plus.
  • Insights after 14 check-ins (Plus): compares days with a factor, such as poor sleep, to days without it. Patterns, not proof.
  • Monthly check: 10 questions, once a month, about how tinnitus affected your week. Free.
  • Doctor report (Plus): a one-page PDF of your last 90 days, made on your iPhone, to share only if you choose.

What happens to your data?

Nothing leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share it. Tinnimo has no account, no ads and no tracking, and it never uses your microphone. Apple handles payment. You can export or delete everything in Settings › Data and privacy. Read the privacy policy.

How does Tinnimo keep you safe?

Tinnimo is a wellness app, not a medical device. It never diagnoses or treats tinnitus. Sound starts quietly, fades in and out, and stays under the volume limiter. A red-flag card appears during setup, in Learn and whenever a check-in reports a sudden change, with a "Find help near me" button that opens Apple Maps.

What's free, and what does Tinnimo Plus add?

Tinnimo is free to download. Tinnimo Plus is optional: a yearly plan with a free trial, a monthly plan, or a lifetime purchase. Apple handles payment, and prices are shown in the App Store in your currency. If you can't afford Plus, write to us for free access.
